Marjorie Hudson on living in North Carolina
Author Marjorie Hudson, a North Carolina resident and author of Indigo Field, Accidental Birds of the Carolinas, and Searching for Virginia Dare, is our guest speaker for High Point Literary League’s Spring Luncheon.
As copy editing chief for Algonquin Books of Chapel Hill, Marjorie Hudson encountered the work of some of the South’s best contemporary authors – Jill McCorkle, Kaye Gibbons, and Clyde Edgerton. Inspired, she turned her hand to fiction writing, and her first story won a statewide award. Now her books are reigning in acclaim from the authors who inspired her!
